Welcome to the John Bauer Trail Run, a tough and hilly trail race taking place in the enchanted forests north of Huskvarna. Participants can choose between distances of 5 km, 10 km, 18 km, as well as children's and youth classes at 400 m, 2 km, and 4 km. Challenge yourself on the rugged paths along the Bauer Trail and enjoy beautiful views over Lake Vättern, while also having the chance to win the title of Bergatrollet for the fastest time up Strutsabacken. Registration can be done on the day of the event, and race numbers can be picked up at the IKHP cabin.
Highlights
- The course is a tough trail run that partly goes on paths and partly off-trail, so trail shoes are recommended.
- This year's Bergatroll is awarded to the man, the woman, and the youth in each category who has the fastest time up Strutsabacken.
- There are several water stations along the course to ensure that participants stay hydrated during the race.
